I have known Don Kaye for more than a decade in a professional zoo setting,
as a breeder, a friend and as a customer, and can say unequivocally that Don
is  an upstanding professional!  Through countless conversations over the
years, I know that he strives to provide healthy, quality and valuable  specimens
to his buyers with no excuses. He views his animals first as  living beings
under his care and secondly as a business, so you know they  are taken care of
with all his attention.  This translates into  QUALITY!

If you are looking for quality animals and a honest seller, then Don Kaye  is
for you!

I met Don Kaye about 3 years ago when I decided to branch out into  ball pythons after breeding
colubrids for 7 years. Don was very helpful to me, as a newbie to balls, and has always been available
if I need to discuss anything about their care.  The snakes I got from Don are doing great and I'm going
into my second breeding season  this year. His collection is just wonderful, there's no other way to say
it. He has been very particular about choosing his breeding stock and the animals he sells certainly
reflects that. He's a caring keeper, not just a businessman, and I would highly recommend buying from
him.

I’ve known and worked with Don for a couple of years and can say he is one of the more ethical,
knowledgeable and professional herpetoculturists I’ve met. Dealing with Don you can be certain of one
thing; any snake you get from him will be a good feeder, 100% healthy and came with good
documentation.

Don is one of the finest persons I have had the privilege of knowing and dealing with. Regarding the
field of herpetology I truly marvel at his knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication. Don has always
advocated selective breeding of quality animals. And it shows in both the animals he maintains in his
collection and the animals he produces. And this I can personally attest to as I have seen the babies I
acquired from Don just get better and better with age. I have dealt with a lot of breeders over the years,
including quite a number of the big name ones. And truly, my experiences with Don are at the very top
of the list. Not only is the quality of his animals far superior, but his love and passion is seen in his
willingness to share everything he knows about their captive breeding and husbandry. Over the years I'd
say Don has literally spent hours patiently answering my many questions. For this I will always be
grateful and appreciative. There are many more morphs I would like to work with in the near future, and
when I do, Don will be my 1st choice to aquire them.
Thanks for all your help,

I have know Don for over 18 years, we are not only great friends but we have been doing business
together during that time as well.   He has paid his dues in the reptile business as well as worked with
many zoos, breeding endangered and threatened species.  He deserves the respect of being one of
the better high end reptile breeders in the United States.  He is very honest and passionate about his
work and has devoted his life to breeding not only top quality python morphs but other threatened
species of reptiles, and has done so successfully.

I first talked to Don on the phone the week before the Tampa reptile show. He had explained to me the
difference between recessive and dominant/co-dominant traits as they pertain to breeding ball pythons.
I am new and just starting out. Don spent the time talking to me and helping me understand. At he time I
thought this was the first time i had talked to him. When I went to the reptile show in Tampa and met
him, it turned out I had talked to him at the Orlando show. Even then he was very nice, and went as far
as to check the sex of a spider ball python that I had purchased from another breeder. I purchased a
100 percent het pied male from him at the show in Tampa . He was the first breeder i purchased a
morph from that had records showing all the feeding, shedding, and weight records, along with the
pictures of the parents. This was the forth morph/het I had purchased and did not receive any records
from the others. I will buy from Don again and i will but with confidence.
The snake is in excellent condition and is a great feeder. I did not have to go through the usual waiting
period after bring home a new snake and having it eat its first meal. Thank you again Don for all the
help and support you have given me and can't wait until your eggs start to hatch this year. I wish you
good luck and hope you have a fantastic breeding season

My name is Brandon Wisdom I bought a male pastel Ball Python from you a year or so ago, I have
collected several other morphs since then and now have 22 Ball Pythons Your's was the first one I got
and I have to say that it is still The nicest looking Pastel I have seen in person and the money I paid you
a year ago is still worth every penny I paid for it if not more. All the other Pastels I see on the market do
not even compare to the ones you produce. I don't think I could ever bring myself to get a Pastel
anywhere else now because I know I would not be happy with it. Thanks Again Don!

Dear Don, I want to express my gratitude for all that you did to  facilitate my acquisition of a pair of
albino alligators. You were either  available to take my call or returned my call on a timely basis.I
particularly like the fact that your invoice was detailed and included a  photo of the actual animal I was
to receive. While the acquisition was  under consideration you were always willing to provide any
additional photos and were happy to field any and all questions. Shipping is certainly an important part
of this process and I must say that you really shined in  this area also. You were willing to schedule the
shipment not as a matter
of convenience but instead in the best interest of the animal to ensure a  safe arrival and tracked the
shipment progress until it was in my hands  safely. I felt I had a partner.
Thank you , Dennis L.
